Do you operate or aspire to operate as a leader in a mission and safety critical environment such as Medical, Nursing, paramedic/technician teams, other emergency response teams, Engineering or aviation? Are you brave enough for this challenge? £550 includes VAT and tea/coffee & light lunch each day and personal leadership behaviour report. This is a three-day programme of learning and challenge to build your skills as a leader in demanding and high-pressure environments. The programme uses academic and personal experience references and case studies along with practical demonstrations and activities. Delegates will complete a personal leadership behaviour questionnaire prior to attending and will receive a style report for discussion and reference during the sessions. Day ONE content overview; TUESDAY 15th OCTOBER 2024 * Challenge – Defining leadership - Why should anyone be led by you? * Exploring Leadership role models and Typical ‘definitions’ of leadership Is it who you are? Is it about results? Is it where you operate? Is it how you learn to lead? * Understanding pressure and performance * The effects of pressure on thinking ability and barriers to high performance * The role of effective leader communication and typical performance barriers – understanding and managing the psychology of human interactions * Exploring the role of graded assertiveness and effects of ‘command gradients’ Day TWO content overview; TUESDAY 22nd OCTOBER 2024 * Team strengths profiling * Working with teams – ‘Flash’ teams, Multi-disciplinary teams, matrix teams – potential and pitfalls * Conducting team briefings & debrief meetings – useful models * Developing responsible followers – Constructive Dissent versus Destructive Consent * The importance of Systems thinking, standardisation and processes Day THREE content overview; TUESDAY 29th OCTOBER 2024 * Mission critical leadership concepts – developing your levels of self-awareness, emotional intelligence and acting with intentionality * Review of personal leadership behaviour reports * Analysing individual and team competence levels * Adapting your leadership behaviour to perform in different contexts / situations Payment by BACS TRANSFER PLEASE TO; Damozza Associates Ltd. Cancellation Policy
All bookings are paid in advance by BACS transfer to our account. Should you pay and not be able to attend a session and you notify us at least 7 days before the event, we will give you a full refund at your request. Alternatively, we will be happy to accommodate you on a different session or date in line with our planned events schedule.
