The Job description & employee profile –Understanding of the key components of the job description and clarity around what we are looking for.
Initial screening – Shortlisting for interview, planning interviews & questions.
Behavioural interviewing – Having an interview structure (IDEALS)©,
Opening the interview, seeking information & questioning techniques,
scoring candidates, moving to close & terminate the interview,
evaluating each candidate & decision making, evaluating the interview
process
Practical interviewing sessions – Opportunities to practice interview skills and use of IDEALS© model.
