Defining problems –
Types of problems in organisations.
A problem solving process -
Introduction to a framework for solving problems – investigative phase and action phase with practical exercises. Tools such as Fishbone analysis, avoiding ‘mental locks’.
A decision making process –
Introduction to a six-step decision making process and tools for effective decision making. Practical decision making exercises / activities to help understanding and practice skills.
